Label Material for Demanding Applications

2 mil Gloss Polyester: Tough polyester resistant to heat, tearing, abrasion, stretch and particularly well suited to industrial applications where label may be subjected to physical stress or heat. 2 year outdoor vertical surface rating. Will accept any of our printing colors or foils, however, to maintain U.L. Recognition contact us to make sure the printing resins are U.L. Recognized as well. Best for very flat, smooth surfaces as it will not conform to uneven surfaces.

Vinyl-Premium 2 mil-Yellow: A 2 mil cast vinyl with a permanent, pressure sensitive adhesive. This vinyl will produce optimum printing results, but since it is very thin it tends to stretch easily. It is good for irregular or corrugated surfaces, but must be handled carefully when applying to avoid stretch and bubbles. It has a 5 year outdoor vertical surface durability rating.

Convex Vinyl-4 mil-Clear: A unique 4 mil vinyl used in adhering and conforming to complex convex curved surface like helmets or hard hats. By laminating after printing with a second layer of this material one can achieve a substantial and very durable emblem for applications like football helmets.

Vinyl-Destructible Reflective 7 mil-White: Provides tamper resistant protection. Once applied, this reflective 7 mil vinyl cannot be removed in one piece. Use for applications requiring high visibility for both day and night. This material conforms well to corrugated or moderately irregular surfaces. Back surface is silverized so material is very opaque. This is one of the most durable outdoor vinyl materials available.

Vinyl-Removable 5 mil-Block Out White: This material is perfect for applying labels to cover up or "block out" copy or graphics from the underlying surface. It has a 3-5 year outdoor vertical surface durability rating, and accepts all of our printing colors and foils. It does not deform easily, but will still conform to moderately irregular surfaces. (For very irregular surfaces, use 2 mil premium vinyl or convex vinyl, and prime with white printing.)

Lexan-Velvet 10 mil-Clear: This material can be used forNameplates, Membrane SWitchpads, Control Panels, and more. Semi-rigid. clear 10 mil Lexan®, with a lustrous velvet finish on the top surface. Material will be printed on the bottom side (subsurface printing), providing maximum protection to the printed image once adhered to application surface. Accepts all our printing colors, except Gold or Silver Medal Foil. Outdoor exposure may cause yellowing, so must not be considered for outdoor use.

A 2 mil silver metalized polyester film that is perfect for asset tags, nameplates, product labeling and is particularly well suited to industrial applications where label may be subjected to physical stress or heat. 2 year outdoor vertical surface rating. Adhesive is one of the best available for Low Surface Energy (LSE) plastics. Best for very flat, smooth surfaces as it will not conform to uneven surfaces. Because it is metallized. This polyester will conduct electricity and is not suitable for the backs of printed circuit boards where labelis applied over electrical contacts.

Security Polyester-2 mil Silver: Security Polyester provides tamper evident protection. (Also see Destructible Reflective 7 mil Vinyl.) This 2 mil silver mirror finish polyester film has a unique adhesive system. Once printed, and applied, the word VOID appears on both the applied surface and the material ifthe label is removed. The removed label cannot be reapplied. Best for very flat, smooth surfaces as it will not conform to uneven surfaces. Will accept any of our printing colors or foils.

PVC Plastic-10 mil-White: 10 mil PVC material is perfect for Door & Review Mirror Hangers, Menu Boards, Tent Cards, and non-pressure-sensitive, interior and exterior opaque applications. Can be score cut for easy folding (e.g. tent cards). This material accepts all our printing colors, except Gold or Silver Medal Foil and has a one year outdoor exposure rating; however it is not recommended for horizontal applications outdoors.

Vinyl-Removable 4 mil-Clear: For Removable, Clear Labels. For up to 6 months after application, decals can be removed from most surfaces with little or no residue, and without the aid of chemicals or tools. It has a 6 month outdoor vertical surface durability rating, and accepts all of our printing colors and foils. It does not deform easily, but will still conform to moderately irregular surfaces.

Can be moved or repositioned after application. This material will accept all of our printing colors with the exception of Gold Foil and Silver Foil. Specify Reverse Printing if you want decals to read correctly when applied to and read through glass; will generally need white as a backup printing color if creating decal to be read through glass.

Magnetic Vinyl-8tandard 15 mil-White: Refrigerator Magnets, Specialty Magnets, Movable Labels. Flexible 15 mil magnetic vinyl with matte white surface. Perfect for flexible "refrigerator magnets", or moveable labeling on iron or steel surfaces. 12 magnetic poles per inch. (For automotiveltruck applications, use Super Magnetic 24 mil.) It has a 5 year outdoor vertical surface rating, will not lose magnetic over time, and accepts all our printing colors and foils.

Magnetic Vinyl-Super 24 mil-White: AutomobilefTruck Magnets, Refrigerator Magnets, Specialty Magnets, Movable Labels. Flexible 24 mil magnetic vinyl with matte white surface. Perfect for temporary small signsllabels on carsltrucks, for flexible "refrigerator magnets" with greater magnetic strength than our standard magnetic material, or moveable labeling on iron or steel surfaces. 18 magnetic poles per inch It has a 5 year outdoor vertical surface rating, will not lose magnetic over time, and accepts all our printing colors and foils.

For safetylwarning labels, automotiveltruck applications, bumper stickers. Use one of our ''transparent'' colors to maintain reflectivity through colors. Will accept all of our printing colors and foils. Conforms well to corrugated or moderately irregular surfaces. Back surface is silverized so material is very opaque. One of our longest lived outdoor vinyls.

This vinyl is a relatively inexpensive but effective solution for most labeling needs. It does not deform easily, but will still conform to moderately irregUlar surfaces. (For very irregular surfaces, use 2 mil premium Vinyl.) Mildly translucent, so if you need opacity on a white label, use Block Out White Standard 4 mil Vinyl, or use one of the metalized materials and prime with white.)

Vinyl-5tandard 4 mil-Clear: This is the place to start for clear decals. A 3.5 mil clear calendered vinyl with a clear permanent, pressure sensitive adhesive. It has a 2 year outdoor vertical surface durability rating (for longer life, use clear 2 mil premium vinyl), and accepts all of our printing colors and foils. It does not deform easily, but will still conform to moderately irregular surfaces. (For very irregular surfaces, use 2 mil premium clear vinyl.) It does not deform easily, but will still conform to moderately irregular surfaces. (For very irregular surfaces, use 2 mil premium vinyl.)

Vinyl-Standard 4 mil-Semi gloss Yellow: A 3.6 mil polymeric calendered vinyl with a permanent, pressure sensitive adhesive. It has a 5 year outdoor vertical surface durability rating, and accepts all of our printing colors and foils. This vinyl is a relatively inexpensive but effective solution for most labeling needs. It does not deform easily, but will still conform to moderately irregular surfaces. (For very irregular surfaces, use 2 mil premium vinyl.) When printing on colored vinyl material, white must be printed as a primer to achieve standard color rendition.

Static Cling Vinyl-7.S mil-Clear: A 7.5 mil highly plasticized vinyl film designed to adhere to glass and other clean, smooth non-porous surfaces. For interior use. Window and automotive window decals, without adhesive residue. Can be moved or repositioned after application. Will accept all of our printing colors with the exception of Gold Foil and Silver Foil. White static cling can be used on the face of television monitors and other smooth surfaces. Use Clear Static Cling for "read-through-glass" decals (mirror image printing).

LexValu™plus 10 mil White: LexValu1lol pius is a unique process of combining a Lexan® overlaminate with any of our standard substrates. A control panel or nameplate produced with the LexValu1lol process can be more economical for jobs which would otherwise require a white flood coat and which have a large number of internal cutouts.
